the problem with cheaper routers you can get at walmart is they are only designed to accept internet coming from cable or DSL, via ethernet cable. they do NOT have any way to accept an EVDO device as an internet source.
the cheap CTR350 works great with the UM150 and your game console.

Alex is right, the routers at your local Radioshack & Circuit City won't accept EVDO connections. 3Gstore is your best bet getting your PS3 online, as they include their exclusive EVDO Gaming guide with the purchase of every CradlePoint router |

You could go down to the closest Staples store and get yourself a $7-10 crossover cat5 network cable. It looks like a regular network cable except it will have crossover or crosslink written on the packaging. Use this cable to plug your playstation directly into your computer's ethernet port. Then just click start, connect to, show all connections, and then right click on your verizon connection. Select properties, then hit the advanced tab in the app that pops up. Turn on internet connection sharing, and hit ok. then have fun. |

| Dude just saved you a nice amount of coin^.. if you just want to play games go with the internet connection sharing option.. you won't need a router and a "gaming PDF" ert.. save your cash and buy some more games |

| what kind of range are we talking with the 350. I used to use just normal g routers when I had satellite internet and it worked fine for my ps3 so will these have about the same range |

i would not call it "slight" amount of processor speed, but if all you are doing is gaming, the diff in processor speed is not likely to affect you.
now, if in addition to gaming, you stream videos, or do VOIP or VPN, then the faster processor would be the better choice. _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas/Routers/Amps :: Verizon EVDO :: Sprint EVDO :: Why Buy from 3Gstore? |

| so is the processor speed then comparable (for the 350) to something like a netgear g router or any other standard g router? |
