Do sprint employees not even know or has they're little book of answers not been updated yet? | You have come upon one of the great conundrums. How is it that so many online customer support reps and Sprint Store sales persons miss the details about their own products. Occasionally you come upon a diamond in the rough; but more often, you don't. I've always wondered whether it was because:
1) Sprint doesn't want them to get into such detail so it shields them from the info,
2) Sprint's quality control is so poor it doesn't realize they don't know or have the info,
3) Sprint pays so little, they cannot attract diligent workers who care enough to keep abreast of changes,
4) the CS personnel don't want the public to know.
Perhaps a former Sprint CS or store employee who reads this can help clarify.
That is why this is the premier EVDO tech site on the net. The staff of the 3Gstore does give a damn. They know the technology, the providers and the equipment. They also stay abreast of changes and lead in clarifying problems. Additionally, there are a number of folks who hang out here who have the technological curiosity to contribute to the knowledge pool.
Since the notice of change has already been posted on monthly bills, there is no question the shift in policy is real. How absolutely Sprint will enforce the data cap will not be revealed for a month or two. _________________ Vista64 & EX720 |
