About a month ago my Dad (who is not tech-savvy at all btw) went with Verizon's Wireless internet plan. This was after we tested AT&T's service and found it to fail horrendously. After I told him to return it he did, and went to Verizon and they set him up with a $60/mo plan. The bill came in yesterday with overage charges totaling $860. He claims to have never been aware of any limits as he brought everything home and I set it up for him. Is there any way around this? Im sure he'll pay but geez, the whole $860?

There are a few things that can be done, unfortunately, we cannot post them here and we can only completely help on accounts that 3Gstore.com initially setups with Verizon.

That said, I would recommend that you:

1) Call Verizon and explain to them that the sales person didn't inform your Dad of the overage charges

2) The person you talk with on the phone, has the ability to waive the overage charges, BUT can do this only the first time. If they waive it once, they will NOT be able to waive it again.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
