Well I will fight my bill if they try and charge me for over 5gb. I signed up when it was still unlimited and I've never been throttled and hope not to be charged.
Especially since I'm at around 30gigs or something ridiculous. Since reading my usage I have throttled my brother though. Quite thoroughly I might add.

| I don't think there is any carryover time with data plans. May be wrong, but I was with Verizon 5 years and never heard of such a thing. |

| I'm pretty sure there is no rollover for data usage. In fact I'm positive. Their TOS says nothing about it - it only refers to what you've used by the end of a billing cycle. Everything resets monthly. |

Well all I have to say is 5GB is not enough. I just cancelled my verizon plan the other day. I'm by no means a huge downloader etc... But 5GB is not enough these days. Main uses where --> email, web browse, youtube, flickr with occasional podcasts. Two users total in the house. Some days I would use it and some I wouldn't. I guess I'm going back to a dsl line as both sprint and alltel only have digital coverage and not evdo. Your probably thinking well if you have dsl why go through cell? Well my local dsl is 384/384 $40. |

Well, Just got Verizon like a week ago because its the only provider that has EVDO Rev-A in my area and plus it covers the areas I will be liking to use it in without any roaming (Something I didn't see Sprint or Alltel in the areas I wanted). But I kind of agree with Blazer a little with the rollover thing or up the limit. Hopefully they will see the limit thing in not that good. But, I will stay using my Comcast Internet when at home and its working and use Verizon when I'm out and about needing to check on email and support tickets with my Company. So far Verizon Speeds Rock in my Area. |
