I've been with Alltel wireless for about three months now and tickled pink Mr. Green with the speed since having only dial-up previously. (Never gotten YouTube before!)

I am in a rural area over 7 miles from the Alltel tower. I get about 600kbps and happy with it, but... I want more speed.

My current setup is a UM150 wireless adapter, a KR-2 Kyocera router with an auto antenna and booster (standard).

What can I do to turn my happiness into bliss? Rolling Eyes

You're speed is limited by the output on the tower you use to connect. Sounds like RevO speed. If you get closer to the tower and speed increases to RevA then maybe an anteana will help.

There are a lot more knowledgeable people on here than me and I'm sure someone will chime in with more advice for ya.
