| We have been using our Verizon EVDO card at home for the past 4 years. Recently we haven't been able to get a signal from home (both the laptop and EVDO card still work in other locations). When we call Verizon tech support, they try to troubleshoot our laptop and EVDO card instead of trying to determine what might have changed in their network. Any suggestions? |

1. you can use other laptop and other EvDO card to confirm if the signal is strong enough in your home, if no or weak signal , we can confirm the EvDO network has problem;
if the signal is OK, your laptop or EvDO card have problem, check or change it.
2. contact vendor, ask them to confirm if the EvDO BTS has problem or BTS antenna has problem |

Pull out your Cell Phone and see if it shows EV-DO. The same thing happened to me for a few days. I couldn't even raise it on my Cell Phone. So, if your Cell Phone isn't showing EV-DO - it definately isn't your air card. |

| Looking at the length they've had their aircard, they may not have an EVDO capable phone. Can you post the make/model of your phone? |

Good point - hopefully he has a neighbor with a newer phone who could check as well. |
