|
|
I have a pantech PX-500, considering purchasing a newer laptop at some point. It seem machines with the old PCMCIA slots are getting harder to come by. The Dell Latitude line is about the only one left.
I did some googling and found this product:
http://www.addonics.com/products/host_controller/adexc34cb.asp
the site says it works with my modem. Can anyone verify this? |

i tested that device when it first came out.
results were inconsistent. sometimes it would work, and sometimes it would not recognize the card. didn't matter which card i tried: px500, ac595, s720, pc5750... etc
and, even when it did recognize card, it could not update prl or do activations.
thats why we decided not to sell/support it. _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas/Routers/Amps :: Verizon EVDO :: Sprint EVDO :: Why Buy from 3Gstore? |

Thanks. I'll guess I'll stick with the Latitude line from Dell. |
