Anyone else had problems with Verizon's usage meter? It seems to be really screwed up, giving bad readings and not updating but every two or three days.
As an example, on 8/12/08, I checked it in the early morning and it read: "Estimated usage as of 8/10/08 5:31pm of 3,768MB."
Then, that same day, 8/12/08, I checked it later on in the evening and it read: "Estimated usage as of 8/9/08 11:30am of 3,554MB."
It's as if it randomly reverts back to a previous time's usage for no apparent reason. I also have no idea how it chooses those precise times to log the usage.
Even worse, yesterday on 8/15/08 was my last day before the usage reset and I checked it and it said:
"Estimated usage as of 8/14/08 5:31pm of 4,678MB."
I look at the data details on the Verizon website and it shows a 400MB usage on it when I know I wasn't on the internet. At that point though I was concerned about going over the limit and didn't use the internet.
Then, this morning I check it again, and it says:
"Estimated usage as of 8/15/08 10:45pm of 4,152MB."
Huh? One day later and my usage has gone DOWN 500MB? It makes no sense. Miraculously, the 400MB charge that shouldn't have been there in the first place has disappeared overnight. This usage meter is really annoying me. |

| Yep, I have noticed this for the past month as I keep track of my usage on a daily basis. I just started my new cycle and 8/13 it posted as 67.77MB and when I checked on 8/14 it posted 50.79MB. Very strange. |
