Alright, We can read about Verizon having the um175 and they are buying out Alltel. I wonder if they will make the 175 for Alltel as well?? Question

Yes. It will be available through Alltel

I just received my UM175 today. It was on backorder when I ordered it. I live way out here in the country and have been stuck with AT&T Edge for a long time but now I'm connected on EVDO right now and just did a speed test and ran around 1266 kbps down. I think my speeds will get quite a bit better even once I get an antenna and even an amp maybe. All I've got right now is just the USB air card plugged into my MacBook Pro and I'm getting mostly 5 bars but it drops down to 4 and 3 now and then. But the antenna should take care of that once I get it all set up.

Does anyone know if the CTR-350 will work with the UM175? I also understand the UM175 has a antenna port, If so, Does 3G have the converter cord to mate with the Wilson Trucker? Is it the same as the plug as the UM150 has? I know, Too many questions!! This is the combo i want to use for our Two Computers. Am having so much trouble with the UM150 and Vista that I am thinking that using 802.11 with the router and the UM175 will stop some of the problems. Hope so!! I have been getting great evdo speeds with the OpenDNS. Am getting 2.2 MBPS down and 170 up!! They have been working on the tower this week and It has been showing the faster speeds but No ra yet! No complaints other than when you first start up, The software says that the air-card isn't plugged in. I am looking right at it. My other half is having the same issue. We are sharing the same card but I take it out at night when we shut down both computers. Getting ready to buy the stuff for this combo. Looking forward to things getting back to normal somewhat!!
