For months I'd been getting a strong DO signal, and WoW ran great...recently, I can't get the DO signal anymore, but I am "upgraded" to rA...the signal strength is about the same as it was for DO, but now I am experiencing horrible lag in the game. I have no router, I have an external antenna, nothing has changed except DO > rA, is there any reason the rA signal should be doing this, because I had the impression that rA was better than DO, but its made WoW pretty much unplayable for me as far as I can tell. I have the UM150. Just to clarify, I've had no problems with WoW until the last month or so when I started connecting to this rA signal.

Thanks in advance,

Chuck

Dunno.. I'd think there would be a software/driver update from Alltel for the new RevA stuff but it's not on their site.

RevA should actually give you a little better latency (ping) from a server, too. It sounds like it's gone the opposite direction.

What's the difference in your signal strength compared to before? It seems like a couple of us have had our Alltel DO signals dropped down lower. That could be your issue.

btw i get this from time to time too. I dont think the rA is really being pushed out as rA right now, im getting the same speeds as i was during DO. I have only at 77 uploads with rA on, no where near the suggested uploads for rA

Sounds about right.

I recently upgrade the firmware on my KPC680 which gives it RevA capabilites. I'm able to pick up Ra at my house now but the signal strength is not as good as DO. My guess is i'm running off of an entirely different tower.

Hopefully things will be better once ALL of the tower's get upgraded.
