hi,

its worked before but for some reason my kr2 hard reset is not working. this is what i am doing...

1. remove power
2. push and hold reset button with paperclip ...
and at the same time.
3. apply power for 15 sec and then release reset button.

i say this is not working because my pw is not back to 'admin'.

any suggestions or comments.

thanks, ray

found my own problem. the new admin password is the last six character of the MAC address located on the bottom of the router.

Glad you figured out the issue. Also, as a point of procedure, you do not have to remove power, press the reset button, then apply power. That was the procedure with KR1. KR2 allows you to simply press and hold the power button while it is powered on. The LEDs will flash and the router reboots when the process is complete.
