I just checked the xp and vista 32 bit OS, but it looks like Alltel has upgraded the KPC 680 and the EC360 firmware to Rev A. Woot

Don't think it would help my horrid DL speeds, but it's worth a shot! Hell, I'm prepared to go outside in my underwear and do a rain dance if it'll get me above 500 kbps. |

Thank you lvlorpheus for the links.
I got all exited, did the firmware update on my KPC680, went without a hitch, revA flickered on for a few seconds but never came back (think it was just teasing me!). Rev0 works just same as before, same upload/download speeds. (approx 700K). I want my RevA  |

LOL I updated mine thru a usb hub, didnt think about it then but hey it worked and update was successful. |

| Did the update on my ec360 yesterday. Firmware installed fine but turns out I needed the QLM for the ec228 to be able to see RSSI info from help>about QLM. |

| Does this apply to the 680 rev c cards? I just had my old 680 replaced with one of the rev c cards, haven't seen a whole lot of difference other that I only disconnect every 12 hours. |

| I followed ll the steps and it will not download for me. Im confused also my alltel internet sucks right now i cant download anything im always going dormant do i have to be connected to alltel internet for this update? |

You also have to upgrade the PRL for an old KPC680 card. The KPC680c also has the PRL 40036.
A google search will point you in the right direction. |

None for UM-150! Just the disc it came with when i got this card..... I can get better speeds from Dial up than what i am getting right now!!! 2.3 kbps with Rev. O Sicks!!! Sucks to be alltel.....  |
