Dear EVDO forum users
I'm wondering where can i get a external antenna for this modem:
axesstel.com/fixed/broadband_evdo_modem.php?id=1
the modem itself has a Green Signal But randomly drops the connection in my area which is Puerto Rico i contacted Axesstel Support and this is what they said:
"To get better RF signal reception in weak signal areas, installing external patch antenna is one of possible solutions.
Unfortunately, Axesstel does not manufacture these external antennas. However, Axesstel products are compatible with most antennas in the market. We recommend TNC-male type with at least 12 dBi gain."
i would apreciate if someone tells me where to get a antenna for the modem

Do they have a dedicated antenna port  I don't see any mention of it in their spec comparison  . |

Yes the modem has two removeable antennas simmilar to some routers
the antennas use TNC-male connector and they can be unscrewed to be removed(if needed)
sorry i dont know much about EVDO :/ |
