Went back to version 2.1 and all seems to be working this morning. _________________ Bob |

| I contacted 3Gstore early on in this problem (since I bourght the router from them). They have forwarded my info and the link to this forum to Cradlepoint for troubleshooting and hopefully a fix in the next firmware upgrade. |

| It sounds like you broke the Wipipe! I wonder if this is related to the series of tubes... |

| OK, 2 days in a row with no issues in the morning. I'll have to wait a week or so to say the factory reset was the fix, I had the latest firmware in place for a week -10 days before it started acting up. |

Update
I reverted back to the 2.2.0 firmware and it seemed to help for a day. Then I am back to the same problem. If the router is not used for a few hours it seems to shut down but this time the Power light and the WLan light stay on while the USB goes dark. Only way to restart it is to unplug and replug. Very annoying and time consuming since I have it located at a remote location in the house. |

| I also did a factory reset which seemed to help but only briefly. I reverted to firmware 2.2.0 but that doesnt seem to help. I guess I will try version 2.1.0 next. My symptoms seem to be identical to those listed above. USB light goes dark and others stay on when the router shuts down. Will check again when I get home after work. But I dont expect anything to be different. Thankfully my router is easily accessed. Anybody heard from 3G Store or Cradlepoint regarding the situation? |

Yup, I also tried the factory reset. No help. Since there are reports that 2.2.0 doesn't help, I guess I'll try 2.1.0 next.
Anybody from Cradlepoint reading this thread? Any comments? How about 3GStore? |

| I posted before about a factory reset seeming to fix the lock up issue, but now for the past 3 days it is doing the same thing again. The reset seems to fix for a short time, but is not a permanant fix. |

The only way I have found to keep the connection from "locking up" or going dormant is to keep one PC on the network "awake". Even though nothing is being transmitted the connection remains active.
I did notice another thread on the forum that seems to indicate a related problem,

Version 2.1.0 continues to work perfectly since I went back to it on July 30. _________________ Bob |

Again, can we please get someone from Cradlepoint or 3gstore to chime in on this? Is Cradlepoint even aware of the problem and working on it?
For myself, factory reset didn't appear to work at first -- had the problem the next morning. But it's been fine, running on 2.2.1, since then. Still, the messages above make me wonder if it's stable enough to continue running it. |

Though I'm sure they read this forum, this isn't a CradlePoint support forum, have you tried calling them or e-mailing them. I've had to talk to them a couple of times on various problems and usually they want to know the modem you're using, the firmware version, and they want to get a copy of your log.
Anyone emailed them? |

| Those of you that are seeing this issue - do you have Traffic Shaping turned on? |

It is now 15 days since the last post to this Thread- Does moving back to 2.1.0 fix the problem? Several mention moving back to 2.1.0 and waiting to see if the problem was solved- I think one person mentioned that for 2 weeks that problem didn't reoccur
What is the concensus? |
